Upon reviewing all of your information, you will generally meet with our Training Center Coordinator. If you are a new instructor, he will speak with the instructor who monitored you, if you’re an experienced instructor he would like to speak to your current or previous co-instructors. We will review our philosophy and concepts on presenting programs (Hint- it involves doing “the right thing” and following the syllabus with no short cuts). We will then follow the process below:

We then follow the same process as previously stated in helping develop anyone who wishes to take on this role as well.
We realize some people enjoy both doing the lecture/review sections and others just like the scenario stations, we want our faculty to be comfortable with whichever position fits their style and personality.
There is a bit of a learning curve when EMS folks teach at the hospital level and vice versa- we try to put a mix of staff in our programs with varied experience.
