This program is designed to give participants the knowledge and skills necessary to resuscitate newborns; improper response to a depressed neonate in the first few minutes may affect the rest of that child’s life.  This course uses case-based interactive stations to cover the required modules: Assessment, Initial Resuscitation, and Bag Valve Mask Ventilations, Intubation, CPR, and Medication.

Our programs provides an actual education along with the skills review and competency testing

In 2012, the American Academy of Pediatrics changed the NRP format to an “online written exam after the student reviews the manual on their own.” Then the student was to be evaluated in Neonatal Resuscitation Competency Skills.  We suggest all participants review the book extensively.

Here is how we have structured the program:

Online Portion

Providers must complete the online exam from the AAP site (http://rqipartners.com/nrp)  Then attend the skills review and competency class with us to complete their “certification.”

Our Course

Our NRP Program provides 3 hours of review / teaching, skills practice, and competency testing. We issue a completion certificate and the AAP sends out the card, electronically.
Note: Skills must be completed within 90 days of the online portion
