Official Emergency Nurses Association developed courses. The ENA is accredited as a provider of continuing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
This course, developed and overseen by the Emergency Nurses Association, provides you with cognitive, core level trauma knowledge and psychomotor skills experience in an interactive format. The TNCC course will provide a systematic, standardized approach to injured patient care. The hands-on psychomotor skill stations help you incorporate cognitive knowledge into application of skills in a safe practice environment.
TNCC classes close 30 days before the start of the course. You must register by this date in order to attend.
While this course is designed for Registered Nurses, other healthcare providers may also attend as observers. Course participants should possess, at minimum, generic nursing knowledge, have an understanding of emergency care terminology and have a familiarity with standard emergency equipment. Although only nurses will receive a certification, anyone who successfully completes the course will get the contact hours.
